Top 12 Adventure Games

Top 12 Adventure Games

This is a new category I'm starting, the Top 12 Something. Twelve is a beautiful number which base has survived history through the measurement of time and counting on our hands. It even has its own unique word unlike the combinatory names for higher numbers. For some applications it is much more useful than ten. And I'm extending it to the famous top lists.

There are many sub-genres in Adventure gaming, so I had to seperate this into 4 groups. They all share a deep feeling of adventure when playing, be it through exploring the unknown or finding a way out of a situation. These sub-genres just define the tempo and playstyle. I'll pick 3 from each creating a diverse top 12 where each has a unique experience.
